Knowledge base

Answers, in plain language

What is Anodization?

An electrochemical process that grows a hard oxide layer into the aluminum surface and seals color inside it. Because the color lives in the metal rather than on top, it cannot chip, peel or scratch off.

Anodized aluminum or vacuum metallized resin?

Choose anodized aluminum for weight, durability and full recyclability. Choose metallized resin for complex geometry, lighter parts and lower tooling cost at the same visual quality.

What tooling lead time should I plan for?

Engineering review starts at concept. Rapid 3D prototypes come back in days; production tooling and first article timing depend on geometry and decoration, and we quote both up front.

Global footprint

Six plants.
One standard.

Programs move between plants without a change in color or tolerance — the same processes, run to the same physical standard, on two continents.
